in the spring
cherry blossom dreams
kite strings tugging
This is one verse in my book of haiku, SEASONS OF GOLD, which I plan to publish as an e-book next Saturday. This is the cover design I’ve chosen:

This is one verse in my book of haiku, SEASONS OF GOLD, which I plan to publish as an e-book next Saturday. This is the cover design I’ve chosen:
splashing like children
even the old woodpecker
man-made rain
tiny yellow banners
flung up across our lawn
hostile takeover
cricket sings
cheerfully goes about
his undertaking
ruffled brown sparrows
clean up seeds on the snow
partners with the wind
the full moon
tosses five geese on the lake
without a splash
cricket climbs over
a zucchini in its path
invasive species
crescent moon cradles
the evening start tonight
mother’s lullabye
in the silence
of the morning frost
the mums dare riot
