  1. Nice! If I were writing the haiku I would have involved the reader more by not telling the whole story…maybe something like this:

    Sunday morning —
    clouds of dust flying
    on country roads.

    Lots of other possibilities but the idea is to give the reader something to do. In this way haiku becomes a cooperative event. N’cest pas? 🙂

    • I agree with what you’re saying about giving the reader something to do. However, this picture is coming from our own lifestyle and experience. I believe there are a lot of readers, even among my own kin, who wouldn’t have a clue as to why there would be dust flying on country roads Sunday morning.
