Uh oh! I’m reminded of a black pair of men’s boxer shorts I bought myself for Valentine’s Day a few years ago! They were covered with large red hearts. Could it be that someone near and dear to you has a similar pair?!! — Anyway, I like this one a lot! 🙂
Ha! My near and dear likes plain and simple. I was thinking of when my daughter helped with some housework at a home and discovered that the husband had a stack of poems he’d written cached in the bottom drawer of their dresser. He wasn’t showing his little inspirations to ANYBODY.
Ah! Guess he was the male counterpart of Emily Dickinson, who wrote her poems on scraps of paper, then hid them in her dresser mingled in with her clothing. Weirdo!
Thanks! Confession time: I have a plastic tub with bits & scribbles, plus a couple of books I’m “working on”, but no one can be inspired by them because I’ve never finished them.

Well, bear in mind they didn’t have the internet like we do. Today everyone and his pup–literally :)–can post writings without shame.
