Well, what a dilemma! Do I like this one very, very much, or do I love it?! Hmmmm! Guess I’ll decide once the Real Estate folks have come and gone. *g*
I took my cue from you, trying to write subtly about death. I was about 3 1/2 when my little brother died a few hours after birth. Good luck with your deal.
This haiku is as close to perfect as any I have read anywhere, whether in books or online! Period. You owe me no debt of gratitude for the writing skills you show in this haiku. God was at your side…………I was very far away. *g*
Thanks for the encouragement.
If you knew the whole story you might almost say that child fared best of all. My siblings had a pretty rough upbringing.
Whatever the sad circumstances that called it forth, this haiku will stand the test of time. It’s real. It’s powerful. And I am honored to know the poet who breathed life into it.
